Band Organ

Wurlitzer Band Organ 166 Project. Historical marvels that ran the instruments of a march band with a sheet of paper punched with holes that let vacuum through to play the marching band instruments. There were only three of the Wurlitzer 166 made. They were all lost in history due to floods and fire. The Wurlitzer 166 was brought back to life by CarveTech 3D scanning the smaller organ in the first photo (CAD model sample overlaid in the center of the photo). The parts were reverse engineered and by CAD modeling on top of a historical photo the 166 band organ was brought back to life!
